4 DAY TOUR MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA DESERT AND FEZ

DAY 1 :

FROM MARRAKECH - TELOUAT - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE

Morocco Berber Travel organizes tour from Marrakech with experienced drivers and guides to explore Sahara desert. We will depart after breakfast at 8:00 am from your hotel towards Ouarzazate, passing Tizi n'Tichka, 2260 metres high. We will visitTelouat Kasbah, which was built by the Pacha Glaoui in the period of French colonisation. you will visit one of the UNESCO world heritage sites named Ait Benhaddou. It's classified since 1987. This fortified Kasbah is an attractive site for private tours and excursions departing from Marrakech. Because of it's beautiful architecture and natural decoration Ait Benhaddou Kasbah it becomes one of the famous locations that is used for movies shooting. such as "Gladiator", “Lawrence of Arabia”,

"Alexander", "Kingdom of heaven","Babel" & "Prince of Persia"… Then continue on to Ouarzazate where we will stop to take photographs, see the Hollywood of Africa cinema studios and Taourirt Kasbah. We will spend the overnight in Ouarzazate.

DAY 2 :

OUARZAZATE - ROSE VALLEY - DADES VALLEY - TODGHA GORGE

After breakfast we will depart Ouarzazate and head towards Skoura, known for its palm trees and authentic Berber Kasbahs at Amredil and Ben Moro. We will continue our journey to the spectacular Rose Valley where we will see figs, almond and walnut trees. Passing through the valley of 1000 Kasbahs we will see many Berber villages and Kasbahs, after that we will head to Dades Gorges with its diffrent colours, you will also discover the "Monkeys Feet Prints" before arriving at Todgha Gorge where we will spend the night in a hotel.

DAY 3 :

TODGHA GORGE - ERG ECHEBBI (MERZOUGA)

From Todgha Gorge we will drive toward Sahara desert Erg Chebbi (Merzouga), passing by spectacular landscapes and the volcanic Atlas mountains of Saghrou in the Anti Atlas. We will pass through the village of Tinejdad before stopping for lunch in Touroug. After lunch we will continue to Erfoud, famous for its ‘fossil’ factories, before seeing the beautiful sand dunes appearing as we pass by Erissani. On arriving at Erg Chebbi we will take the camels to the middle of the Sahara Desert where we will spend the night under the stars in Berber tents.

DAY 4 :

MERZOUGA - ZIZ VALLEY – AZROU – IFRANE - FEZ

After breakfast we will ride our camels back to hotel, where we will freshen up before making our way to Fez. We will stop to enjoy the fabulous landscapes of Ziz valley on the way. We will enjoy the stunning scenery of the Atlas mountains, passing by Tizi-n-Talghoumt 1907 metres high. We will stop for lunch in the small town of Midelt, before stopping in the cedar forests of the middle Atlas mountains where we may see the Magot monkeys. We will also be passing through Ifrane, the first ski resort in Morocco, before continuing our journey to the Imperial City of Fez.
