DAY 1 :

TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUAN - FEZ

Morocco Berber Travel organizes private Tangier tour to Merzouga desert and back with experienced drivers. We meet you on arrival at the port of Tangier and we drive through the Rif mountains and Tetoun city to enjoy the spectacular scenery until we reach Chefchaouan city , one of the stunning villages at the foot of the Rif mountains. We visit Spanish-style square surrounded by many arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants and cafes where we will have lunch before continuing onto Fez, where we will spend the night.

DAY 2 :

FEZ – IFRANE – MIDELT - ZIZ VALLEY - MERZOUGA

You will be picked up from your accommodation before heading south to Ifrane and Azrou through the Middle Atlas mountains. On the way we will stop at the cedar forests to see Barbary Apes.As we travel through the Tizi N’talghamt pass to Midelt and along the amazing Ziz Gorge, carved through volcanic rock, you will get to experience spectacular views of the Middle Atlas plateau and watch the scenery change as we approach the city of Errachidia. After lunch we will continue our journey through Ziz valley to Erfoud, Erissani and Merzouga, before taking a camel ride to a Berber camp in the middle of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes,the highest in North Africa. After dinner we will gather around the camp fire and enjoy the sounds oftraditionalBerberdrums under the stars.

DAY 3 :

MERZOUGA - MEKNES

Today after breakfast we will ride our camels back to hotel, where we will freshen up before making our way to Fez.We will stop to enjoy the fabulous landscapes of Ziz valley on the way.We will enjoy the stunning scenery of the Atlas mountains,passing by Tizi-n-Talghoumt 1907 metres high.We will stop for lunch in the small town of Midelt, after lunch you are going to enjoy beautiful landscapes of the Middle Atlas, then you will spend the night in the city of walls and gates which was built by Moulay Ismail,took it and develop it as city for his kingdom, overnight in Meknes.

DAY 4 :

MEKNES - TANGIER

After breakfast we will drive to Tangier to get there so as to take a ferry to Spain.
